'Water Lily & Koi Pond' - original oil on canvas
Transformed by exquisite texture and mesmerizing movement, this commanding 1.5m x 1.0m panoramic statement canvas brings the tranquil romance of a hidden garden sanctuary indoors. Richly applied with heavy palette-knife work, the painting depicts a lush, verdant pond blanketed with an expansive sea of blooming water lilies in soft creams, blush pinks, and golden yellows. Beneath the heavily textured lily pads, sleek koi fish glint gracefully through dark, reflective waters, leading the eye toward a gentle waterfall cascading in the background. Its magnificent proportions, deep organic greens, and serene, impressionistic atmosphere make it the ultimate centerpiece to anchor a grand dining room, formal entryway, or luxury lounge feature wall.
